Aldena G. Stump, 98, of Mendon passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 in the North Adams Home in Mendon.
Aldena was born on April 22, 1918 in Adams County, Illinois to the late Pete and Bertha (Dooley) Fuller. She married Charles Sidney Stump on September 6, 1941 in Palmyra, Missouri. Charles passed away on April 20, 1995.
Aldena was a seamstress, making quilts, dresses and curtains and enjoyed playing cards.
Surviving are; four children, Arthur Eugene Stump of Quincy, Jerry Stump of Quincy, Marion (Christine) Stump of Quincy, Arlene (Jerry) Meyer of Loraine, five grandchildren, Tisha Crabtree, Krishell Hadsell, Sarah Burkett, Kim Stump, Matt Stump, six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Fuller.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon with Reverend Keela Neumann officiating. Interment will be in the New Loraine Cemetery in Loraine. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon. Memorial contributions have been suggested to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Blessing Foundation or North Adams Home.
