Arthur Gronewold

Arthur L. “Art” Gronewold, 95, of Golden passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 in the Golden Good Shepherd Home in Golden.
Art was born on September 7, 1921 in Rural LaPrairie to the late John and Emma (Bruns) Gronewold. He married Helen Doellman on August 15, 1952 in Quincy. Helen passed away on August 23, 1995.
Art was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Golden and a past member of the Golden Lions Club.
Surviving are one niece, Dorothy Heinecke of Golden and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, John Bruns and a nephew Raymond Bruns.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 7, 2016 in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Golden with Reverend Linda Murray officiating. Interment will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Golden. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services in the Church on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorials have been suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or Golden Good Shepherd Home.
