Brianna was born Sept. 10, 1992, in Quincy. She is the daughter of Robert Baker and Gina Wagner Heinecke.
She is a 2011 graduate of Camp Point Central High School, where she was in the band and played volleyball. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Golden and the Holy Cross Youth Group.
Brianna was a freshman at the University of Missouri, Mizzou, in Columbia, Mo., and helped with the summer reading program for the Western Central Public Library District. "Brianna's bright smile, blue eyes, and quick wit could light up any room. She didn't know a stranger, and loved spending time with her family and friends."
Surviving are her parents, Bob Baker and his wife, Shawn, of Maywood, Mo., and Gina Heinecke and her husband, Kenneth, of LaPrairie; four sisters, Miranda Baker of Chicago, Alanna Yingling and her husband, Drew, of Huxley, Iowa, Leia Baker of Maywood, Mo., and Kara Baker of Maywood, Mo.; stepsister, Autumn Rampley and her husband, Doug, of Bowen, stepbrother, Wesley Heinecke of Mount Sterling; paternal grandfather Loren "Bill" Baker of Vero Beach, Fla.; maternal grandparents Gilmer and Donna Johnston of Maywood; stepgrandparents, Arnold and Dorothy Heinecke of Clayton and Roger and Nancy Tiemann of LaGrange, Mo.; one nephew, Bentley Yingling of Huxley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Wilma Baker; and her maternal grandfather, Elmer Wagner.
SERVICES: 10 a.m. Thursday in the Hunter Funeral Home in Golden, with the Rev. Dixie Croxton conducting.
VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
