Cleo Leasman

Cleo Mae Leasman, 83., of Fowler, Illinois, passed away at 5:30pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.  Cleo was born on December 15, 1939, in Quincy, Illinois to Leo and Irene (Tobben) Reagan. One of six children, Cleo grew up and graduated in Adams County and later went on to become an LPN.

Cleo married Ernest Leroy Leasman in Quincy, Illinois. Together they had four boys. They were married for over 65 years until Ernest’s death in 2011.

Cleo loved going to races and enjoyed flowers and gardening.  She adored horses and especially loved her one and only grandchild, Amanda.

Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernest, and one son, Keith Leasman, sisters Shirley Miller, and Mary Couchman.

She is survived by her sons; Kent Leasman, Kevin Leasman, and Kennth Leasman, grand-daughter, Amanda Leasman, great-grandchildren Ethan Leasman, Kyla Hawkins, and Morgan Richardson; brother Thomas Reagan, sisters Norma Ancell, and Katie Durk.

There will be no formal service at Cleo’s request. Triplett Funeral Home is Mendon is entrusted with cremation arrangements.
