Gary D. Jackson, 73, of Sutter passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Gary was born on January 22, 1943 in Louisiana, Missouri to the late John and Marge (Harness) Knight. He married Janice Ellerbrock on December 8, 1962 in Ursa. Janice survives of Sutter.
Gary attended the Crossing Church in Lima. He was a member of the Adams County Farm Bureau and loved woodworking, being outdoors, collecting toy tractors and spending time with his family and his dog Molly.
Surviving are; His wife Janice of Sutter, four children, Scott Jackson of Macomb, Lori Jackson of Quincy, Todd (Tracie) Jackson of Ursa, Tina (Chris Walker) Stacy of St. Louis, Mo., five grandchildren, Kaylea Jackson of Macomb, Brett (Fiance Megan Wiemelt) of Quincy, Amber Jackson of Ursa, Jack Aschemann of Quincy, Tristan Jackson of Macomb, one brother Mike (Celeste) Jackson of Chicago, three sisters, Sandra Holthaus of Quincy, Johnetta Paup of Columbia, Mo., Nancy Bennett of Columbia, Mo. and his step-father, Harold Knight of Columbia, Mo.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 29, 2016 in The Lima Crossing Church in Lima with Pastor Walt Wilcoxson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lima Cemetery in Lima. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon.
