Harold Sizek

Harold George Sizek, 80, of Ewing, Mo. went to his heavenly home at 1:37 P.M. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in Sunset Nursing Home in Quincy.

Harold was born on August 27, 1939 in rural Fulton County, Illinois. The son of George M. and Myrtle E. (Griener) Sizek. He formally lived in Ipava, Astoria and Macomb, IL.

Harold married June Reid on February 15, 1998 at the Industry Assembly of God in Industry. He was a talented and well known farrier and blacksmith in the Central Illinois area. He enjoyed wood working and made beautiful furniture, he was an avid outdoorsman and hunter spending many hours taking country rides with June and serving the Lord together.

Surviving are; his wife June of Ewing, Mo., one son, Howard (Jacquie) Sizek of Dayton, OH, one daughter, Gloria (and the late Bill) Stephenson of Colchester, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one step-son, Michael (Tina) Eiffert of Palmyra, Mo., one step-daughter, Chris (Cory) Sergerson of Washington, IA, three, step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are; eight siblings, David (Catherine) Sizek of Norris, Steven Sizek of Canton, Glen Sizek of St. David, Rose Bloyd of Lewistown, Katherine Bolen of Canton, Nancy Parrish of Havana, Linda Mitchell of Canton, Martha (Stephen) Mitchell of Norris along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and two half sisters.

Memorial services will be 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Grace Baptist Church, 320 North Mechanic Street, Macomb, with Pastor Jason Hamm officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. until the time of services at the Church on Saturday, December 21, 2019 . Memorial contributions have been suggested to Grace Baptist Church
