Jennifer "Jenny" Rossiter

Jennifer J. “Jenny” Rossiter, 48, of Golden, passed away at 8:12 AM, Thursday, August 19, 2021, at her home.

She was born on January 3, 1973, in Rushville, the daughter of Vernon and Angela (Davis) DeWitt.

Surviving are two children Jeramya “JC” Rossiter of Timewell and Machella Rossiter of Golden, her parents Vernon and Angela DeWitt of Timewell, fiancée Jack Peirano of Golden, two brothers Danny (Misty) DeWitt of Timewell and Teddy DeWitt of Camargo, Illinois, a special aunt Joyce (Mitch) Michaud of Stafford, Virginia, special friend Michelle Buss and her family of Clayton, and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, former mother-in-law Jenny Rossiter of Camp Point.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents Joe and Moneta DeWitt and Leroy and Rose Davis and former father-in-law Don Rossiter

Jenny graduated from Bluffs High School.  She earned Associate Degrees in both Child Care and Medical Assisting.  She was an excellent baker and enjoyed fishing and camping.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Blessing Cancer Center.  The Hunter Funeral Home in Golden has been entrusted to care for Jenny and her family.
