Jolene was born April 17, 1955, in Quincy, to the late Floyd "Jack" Penn and Shirley (Featheringill) Penn.
She was a license practical nurse at Sunset Home in Quincy and had worked for Blessing Hospital in Quincy for 23 years.
She enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, spending time with her grandchildren, and being in the woods with Dean and her dog Emily.
Surviving are her fiance, Dean Rodgers of Ursa; mother, Shirley Penn; four children, Emily Johnson of Ursa, Ashley (Joe) Morris of Vista, Calif., Ryan (Wynne) Penn of Quincy and Carrie (Joseph) Miller of Ursa; 10 grandchildren and one on the way, Jacob, Connor, Jack, Amber and TJ Miller, Josh and Addie Schwenk, Claire and Baby Morris, Collin Johnson, and Otto Rose; two brothers, Matt (Lisa) Penn of Edina, Mo., and Quint (Bonnie) Penn of Ewing, Mo.; five sisters, Jackie (Claudie) Woodworth of Chillicothe, Mo., Cindy (David) DeWitt of Longmont, Colo., Nancy (Ron) Motley of Nauvoo, Cheryl (Elden) Bucher of Quincy and Amy (John) Watts of Edina; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Luke Monroe Miller and Ella Grace Morris, and a nephew, Abram DeWitt.
SERVICES: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, in the Hunter Funeral Home, Mendon, with the Rev. Dennis Gartung conducting. Interment will be in New Providence Cemetery, Ursa.
VISITATION: Noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
MEMORIALS: The grandchildren's education fund.
