Mona Miller

Mona L. Miller, 62, of Mendon passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

Mona was born on May 15, 1956 in Decatur to the late Ronnie and Deloris (Runyen) Ensminger.  She ran the Mimi’s Moppets Preschool in Mendon for three years and had worked at Motorolla, Glenayre, Harris and Methode Electronics. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting teapots, playing Face Book games and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are; her husband George of Mendon; two sons, Jacob (Dede) Miller of Mendon, Jason (Jennifer) Appledorn of Warsaw; seven  grandchildren, Aleigha Smoak, Haleigh Appledorn, Katie Appeldorn, Madelyn Appeldorn, Chase Miller, Aubrey Miller, Emily Miller; two great-grandchildren, Gracelynn and Zavynn; brothers and sisters, Terry (Linda) Ensminger, David (Laura) Ensminger, Rocky Ensminger, Rick (Marilyn) Ensminger, Steve Ensminger, Fred (Donna) Ensminger, Marcy Ensminger; her dog Roscoe and several special cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions have been suggested to the grandchildren’s education fund. Y
