Patricia Dryden

Patricia A. Dryden, 72, of Ursa, died on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 1:56 p.m. in Blessing Hospital.

The daughter of Royal Verle and Mary (Oakman) Maynard.

She married Stanley R. Dryden on February 17, 1979 in Hannibal, MO.

Patricia was a graduate of Unity High School and worked for K-Mart as their Assistant Manager for 25 years.

Patricia grew up on a farm just outside of Mendon and very much enjoyed the farm life with her family. She and her husband, Stan would visit old railway depots and had a great interest in older home architecture. They were also avid bird watchers of Hummingbirds and Cardinals, together they enjoyed traveling up and down the Mississippi river to see the Eagles. Patricia’s hobbies also included baking and refinishing antique furniture.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Patricia is survived by her husband Stan of Ursa; her son Nathan G. Gilliland; her grandchildren Chloe and Jackson Gilliland; sisters Judy (Michael) Schutte and Janet Woodworth; a brother Bob (Monica)Maynard and her beloved Pomeranian and Maltese Mix rescue dog Izzy.

Visitation and Funeral: Family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Triplett Funeral Home in Mendon, Funeral Services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Keith Ehresman officiating.
