Phyllis A. Graham, 87, of Quincy, formerly of Ursa, passed away at 5:35 AM, Friday, November 26, 2021, at Adams Pointe Senior Living in Quincy.
She was born at home in Ursa, on August 5, 1934, the daughter of O. Lee and Helen (Woodruff) Graham.
Surviving are two sisters-in-law Dolores Graham of Ursa and Mary Graham of Fort Worth, Texas, nephews and nieces Bill (Susan) Graham, Jr., Daniel (Kimberly) Graham, Lee Graham, Dean Graham, Kristine (Charles) Graham-Pritt and Kimberly Graham, and numerous great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers William F. Graham, Sr, Dr. Allan Graham, and infant John A. Graham.
Phyllis was a 1953 graduate of Unity High School.
She was a member of the Ursa Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She enjoyed bicycling, walking, playing cards and mowing her yard. She loved animals and attending the Adams County Fair. She volunteered at the North Adams Home in Mendon and the Blessing Hospital Tea Room.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the New Providence Cemetery, at Ursa, with Chaplain Alan Rabe officiating. Interment will follow. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, Wednesday, at the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon. Memorials are suggested to the Adams County Humane Society or the charity of one’s choice.
