Rick Reiter

Rick A. Reiter, 69, of Meyer, Illinois, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Mt. Sterling Health and Rehab Center in Mt. Sterling, Illinois. He was born in Quincy, Illinois on September 15, 1955, a son of Willard and Alta (Penn) Reiter.

Rick attended Greenfield Elementary School and graduated from Unity High School. He worked for Bear Creek Woodworks as the shop foreman for several years. He also worked for Frank W. Lewis & Sons Seed Farm and Pepsi as a forklift operator. His hobbies included fishing, duck hunting, and drinking beer with friends. Rick was a diehard Chicago Cubs Fan and rarely missed a game.

He is survived by his brother, Terry Rieter (Jana Orr) of Meyer, Illinois.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Private interment will be held at a later date in the New Providence Cemetery, Ursa, Illinois.
