Sharon Eberle

Sharon Faye (Shaul) Eberle, age 76, of Ursa, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 12:50 AM, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.  She was born on July 9, 1945, in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd Raymond and Mabel (Trumbo) Shaul.  She married Ronald Eberle on November 22, 1985, in Canton, Missouri.   Ronald survives in Ursa, Illinois.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children:  Donna J. (Steven) Loos of Liberty, IL, Robert (Sandy) Turnbaugh of Buffalo, NY, and twins, Ronnie Turnbaugh and Donnie (Deanna) Turnbaugh, both of Quincy, IL; two stepchildren: Tony (Melissa Hill) Eberle of Canton, MO and Teri (Damon) Hudson of Pleasant Hill, IL; and seven grandchildren:  Darin Haistings, Donnie Turnbaugh, Jr., Jessica Tindall Turnbaugh, Brooke Turnbaugh, Ryan Turnbaugh, Lia Turnbaugh, and Kiersten Turnbaugh.  Sharon is also survived by 8 step-grandchildren, 9 step-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, a stepdaughter, Tina Marie Eberle Robertson, and four siblings:  Barney Harold Shaul, Maurice Shaul, Nadine Shaul Wartick, and Raymaha Jean Shaul Priepott.

Sharon graduated from Unity High School in Mendon, Illinois where she played in the marching band.  Throughout her career, she worked as an emergency room technician, a paramedic, an EMT, and as a First Responder.  She was instrumental in starting the volunteer ambulance service in Mendon, Illinois.

Sharon enjoyed listening to marching bands and piano music.  She loved watching hummingbirds and seeing lady bugs in her yard.  She especially loved her Cockapoo, Cali.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sharon’s birthday, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Triplett Funeral Homes, Mendon, Illinois with Reverend Bill Mitchell officiating.

Family will meet with friends between 10:00 AM and the time of the service on Saturday at Triplett Funeral Homes, Mendon.

Memorials have been established in honor of Sharon Eberle, in care of Ronald Eberle.
