Violet Hieland

Violet M. Hieland, 100, of Mendon passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in the North Adams Home in Mendon.

Violet was born on March 12, 1918 in Golden to the late Henry R. and Emma J. (Ehmen) Gronewold. She married William Frederick Hieland.

Surviving are; two children, Loren Hieland of Quincy, Ellen Vollbracht of Warsaw and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 23, 2018 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon with Reverend David Schuring officiating. Interment will be in the New Providence Cemetery near Ursa. Family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M until the time of services in the funeral home. Memorial contributions have been suggested to Zion Church or North Adams Home.

The arrangements have been entrusted to the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon.
