Zachary Lee Henry Gillham-Johnson, 36, of Rushville, passed away at 1:11 AM, Monday, December 26, 2016, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born on December 14, 1980 in Canton, Illinois, the son of Millard William Johnson, Jr. and Lila Ellen Gillham.  He married Kelley Bedenbender on October 31, 2008, in Rushville and she survives.

Also surviving are his mother Lila Ellen Gillham, his father and stepmother Millard William and Melba Johnson all of Rushville, two stepsons Michael Thompson and wife Ashley of Bushell, and Matthew Thompson and wife April of Blandinsville, stepdaughter Kellie Jo Thompson of Rushville, three grandchildren Dawn Thompson, Michael Thompson, Jr., and Kendrick Thompson, one brother Shawn Gillham and wife Jennifer of Trivoli, a niece, two nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Louie and Mary Bedenbender of Rushville.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents James Henry and Wanda Darlyne Gillham and Millard William and Melba Lou Johnson, Sr.

Zach was a 1999 graduate of Rushville High School and also received a diploma from Project Insight.  He was a self-employed handyman.

He made homemade knives and enjoyed long walks in the woods, camping, fishing and cooking.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2016, at the Palm Cemetery, west of Rushville, with Pastor Greg Fish officiating.  Interment will follow.  Memorials are suggested to his wife Kelley.  Wood Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist the family.
